Vehicle Detail

This is 1977 Chevrolet C10 Silverado has been converted to a late model 6.0 lq9 LS based engine and 4L65e automatic transmission (this drive-train had about 65k miles when swapped). This is the same engine that comes in the Silverado SS, but it has been upgraded with a Comp Cams XR275HR-12 camshaft 222/224 @ .050. The engine is stock other than the camshaft and a good tune. The transmission has been completely rebuilt and includes higher quality components throughout (addressing the inherent weak points in these transmissions) and has much firmer shifts than stock. The combo pushes this truck along effortlessly when cruising, but stomp on the gas and it becomes a handful instantly. I have put a little over 5k miles on the setup you see here and as would be expected have had no issues. In fact these engines regularly go over 200k miles with little else than their recommended synthetic oil changes. · Truck has been dyno-tuned and produced 333hp and 332tq at the rear wheels which equates to about 400hp and 400tq at the crankshaft. · As you can see in the pictures the truck has been painted back to original colors while retaining all of the trim. · New complete Vintage Air A/C system (this thing will freeze you in summer and bake you in winter) · Cruise control · New headliner · Recovered seat · New carpet · New Silverado door panels with correct trim · New dash pad and instrument bezel · New Dakota Digital VHX analog electronic gauges that work perfectly with the modern power train and include speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level, and check engine light. They have max rpm, speed, and ¼ mile time recording ability built into the system. (these have just been released and are very expensive and very cool) · Kenwood stereo with kicker component speakers and Rockford fosgate 10” subwoofer and amplifier. · Mcgaughys 4/6 suspension drop with new shocks · Re-arched / rebuilt rear springs · New front springs · New moog ball joints · New control arm bushings · 4.10 gears with limited slip differential · New rear brakes with new wheel cylinders · Restored 15x8 rally wheels with good tires · Hidden receiver hitch with brake controller · New correct ceramic coated long tube headers for this year truck · New flowmaster exhaust system I have poured a ton of time and money into this project and you get to purchase the end result. This truck is fun to drive and very reliable with the modern touches that are usually found only on new vehicles, but it remains true to its original style. You might even call it a bit of a sleeper! You can fly in and drive this truck home with no worries.
