Vehicle Detail
This is a very special 1990 BMW 325is. I say it is very special because at 23 years and older, these cars are getting hard to find in very good condition, and this one is very nice. It was originally a California car before I brought it to Texas. It is completely rust free and also has its original paint. As you can see it’s a 5 speed and of course it’s black on black, a very good color combination on these cars. It is clear the maintenance has been kept up on since new and recently is has had the important maintenance you want to have done on one of these cars… · New Continental timing belt kit with tensioner pulley. · Valve lash checked. · New water pump. · New fog lights. · New Bilstein rear shocks with heavy duty mounts. · New front valence lip. · New wheels and tires with approximately 350 miles on them (car comes with restored original. 14” “basket weave” wheels and Kumho tires). · New BMW floor mats. · New fuel filter. · New NGK ZGR5A spark plugs. · New BMW spark plug wire set. · New BMW distributor cap and rotor. · Fresh 20w-50 Castrol and Bosch filter. · Fresh Kendall high performance 80w-90 transmission gear oil. · Fresh 80w-90 high temp limited slip differential oil. · Fresh Castrol LMA high temperature brake fluid. · New windshield. · Rebuilt instrument cluster, replaced batteries, SI board, and bulbs. · New MTech steering wheel. · New rear BMW “is” deck lid spoiler (old one was starting to show fine cracks). · New Pioneer Blue tooth stereo deck ( I will include the original BMW stereo). · New Eisman original style exhaust system with rubber bushings. · New windshield washer bottle and pump. The car has a very nice interior and the Napa leather is in very good condition with a little wear on the driver’s seat, but that is to be expected. The dash has a couple of cracks from the sun which is common with these cars. The condition of the dash has been acceptable to me thus far. The balance of the interior is nice and needs nothing. As stated earlier, the exterior is nice and has what appears to be the original paint in excellent condition for 23 years. There is some etching in the paint, a ding in the roof and one very small ding on the rear quarter panel where it rolls up to the deck lid. These defects do not hurt to beauty of this car much. The car drives well, with no noises or vibrations. The engine is smooth, not ticking, or smoking and pulls strong like it should. I cannot think of anything that doesn’t work on the car and I would drive it anywhere in the country right now. You can fly in and drive this car home with no worries.
