**PRICE REDUCED** .................Special circumstances, one time only! This bike will not be this cheap ever again! Blue book is $2900+ and I need this SOLD! First let me note that I know the tires are dirty in the pictures I have. It's just too darn cold right now to wash anything with even colder water. 2005 Suzuki GS500F for sale. Only about 12,570 miles. Cosmetically and mechanically in great condition. I've had it listed locally for about 2 months now but it looks like there's not too many people looking for this model in my area, so that's why I'm selling it here now. Here's the stats:Radio and MP3 player installed. Plays music off your phone, ipod, SD card, USB flash drive, and anything with a 3.5mm audio port (including your old CD walkman). Waterproof speakers are mounted in the dash (see pics) and its audible up to about 75+ mph. Wireless remote included. Control unit is mounted under the seat.Clear title. Ready to be transferred.New paintjob. Metallic blue ("sapphire blue") with white lettering. It was repainted because the stock red stickers faded to pink and frankly, it looked horrible. Contrary to the "why bikes get new paintjobs" theory, the fairings actually didn't have any road rash. Just... pinkness. When I peeled off all the faded OEM stickers, it was just a silver fairing, which didn't match the stock black tank or cowls (the rear cowl had faded pink stickers as well). The stock stickers could have been replaced, but since they cost more than the paint supplies, I figured this paintjob would have looked better than OEM design anyways.~12,570 milesComfortable seating angle. Good combination of sport bike and comfort.OEM Padded pegs for longer rides (current riders probably know, as I do, that the metal ones hurt the center of your feet on long rides)Bar-end mirrors: great for a better view of your 6 o'clock, especially at red lights. I also have the stock mirrors if you prefer, but you don't get both.Warranty: Comes with 3 month, 5,000 miles warranty. See details below.Only damaged part I didn't replace is the exhaust muffler pipe. It's very minor, but in picture 1, if you look at where the chrome pipe meets the black pipe on the bottom of the bike, theres about a 1 inch radius of scratches/rash. Here's what's new on the bike:BatteryFork sealsRadio/MP3 players w/ speakersPaintjob No test rides allowed, but I will ride it and you can follow in your vehicle. There's too much risk on my end. Even if I had you sign a contract of purchase if dropped, I'd still have to get you in a court room if you didn't comply, and that's just not worth the hassle. Obviously you can sit on it to get a feel for it. If you're in my area, I'm also offering this. If you only have a permit and need someone to ride with, I'll be glad to help out the buyer. I have my own personal bike, and can even offer some tips from my approximate 5 years of riding. Warranty terms: I am not a business, but I've rebuilt many motorcycles. If you have any mechanical issues with this bike within 3 months or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first, I will provide free labor to repair it. This is only valid if the vehicle is operated properly, engine and drivetrain alterations have not been made, and no components have been opened or altered by the buyer. Basically, just don't throw a nitrous kit on it or tinker with the engine. Of course, you should always keep the maintenance done, such as chain lubrication, and such maintenance will not affect this warranty. To claim anything under warranty, the bike must be brought to my location in Starkville, MS, and the work will be completed at my location. We can write up a warranty contract if you wish and have it notarized, so you have evidence of the warranty. Winning buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. A $50 deposit is due through paypal upon auction end. This is to make sure that the bidder/buyer is serious. Full payment due within 10 days. We can talk over the phone after the auction and get a time set up to meet for pickup or shipping. Please ask any questions you may have. I check eBay often and will respond ASAP.
