Up for sale I have a 1987 Subaru GL10 Turbo 1.8L SOHC Fuel Injected. Only 126,XXX miles on this baby. Can you taste the champagnes? This magnificent beauty has been well taken care of her entire life. 5 Speed Manual. The Gl-10 trim was for the "10 best upgrades." Sunroof, roof rack, Adjustable Headrests, rear headrests, Rear disc brakes(all other subaru's have drums), rear wind difusor, power everything, Trip computer, digital dash, 4 way adjustable driver seat, 4WD Turbo Decals in amazing shape. Originally purchased in Denver and has been a Colorado car her entire life. This means practically no rust! Interior is Root Beer brown, exterior is champagne gold. The reason I purchased her was because EVERYTHING works. Sun roof, all windows, rear defrost, amazing heat, cold a/c, radio, trip computer(alarm, mpg, range, outside temp, clock, etc), push button 4wd, cruise control, digital dash. Since I purchased her she has received new plugs, wires, distributor cap, distributor rotor, upper fuel filter. Previous owner replaced the clutch about 5,000 miles ago, replaced two wheel bearings, all four tires(have amazing tread with no dry rot). The check engine light is on and is throwing a 21 code, which is the coolant temp sensor. No other codes. I have a new sensor, just have not replaced the old one yet. So what happens since the coolant temp sensor is not working is when you start the car cold, she fires right up. When you start the car after it is warmed up you need to floor the gas pedal. The EA82 motors are also notorious for headgaskets. This GL10 turbo has a leaky headgasket but is not at the point where it overheats and is not drive-able. I currently have been driving the car around town for errands. I have never overheated this car and have been driving her around town without any issues. You just have to check the coolant in her every once in a while and she is perfectly fine.Interior is in great shape for its age. Just a small cig burn in the passenger seat and the drivers door card has some damage. See pics below, I tried to take pictures of absolutely everything. Outside paint is in great shape, one small sun spot on the roof behind the sunroof. One of the rear fenders has the rust bubble forming but the paint has not cracked, this is below the petrol tank filler. One shopping cart ding on the rear quarter panel/door. I tried to take pictures of everything, see below.I have many service records for this car dating back to the 80's and all receipts for work I have performed. Great news! I had the car emission tested in Colorado and she passed. The certificate of passing emissions is included with the sale. both warranty and original car manual are still with the car. Also the original key with light(light still works) and the Valet key are included. I also ran a vehicle check on the car which I can show you. 0 accidents and no faults in this report.
