1988 Camaro IROC Z-28 convertible, all original. Only 3,761 of these 1988 IROC convertibles produced. Drives down the road great, handles like it should with plenty of power. Exterior paint still has nice shine but does show wear, looks great for a driver but not for show in my opinion. Has no rust anywhere as was a California car and ended up in Texas after my father passed away. He was a mechanic and this car was his pride and joy. I have garaged the car most of the time except for some small excursions with the top down. The seals look good, doors and convertible top shows no leaks. The convertible top is relatively new. The interior is original, in relatively good shape. These are getting harder to find in good shape and not needing total restoration. This car has been taken care of and recently checked out by a mechanic and is ready to drive. Car has the original LB9 305 Tuned Port Injected Engine that runs great and has plenty of power. The car drives very tight and you know you’re in a sporty convertible. The air conditioning is still set up for R12 and actually still blows cool, but could use a recharge. The automatic trunk pull down motor, works and all gauges work. Car will be a classic of 25 years old and should continue to rise in value as a rare and sought after American icon. These I added also the mileage listed is the mileage we got from the history report before that the only mileage we had is from the engine which my dad replaced. The car has 10000 miles since the engine was installed; I listed what was on the history report because everything else on the car is original.
