I'm selling this amazing 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 that I have owned for the last 14 years. This car gets a ridiculous amount of attention every time I drive it around Los Angeles. It's one of the best condition '68 Cougars I have seen in person. I've had it serviced regularly at Morris Automotive in Santa Monica and it starts right up and runs very smoothly. It's been tuned to be an everyday driver. The carpet flooring is BRAND NEW and I had all the seats restored recently. The landau top and interior headliner are in perfect LIKE-NEW condition. This Cougar has its original black California license plates! The body is in great shape. The car was professionally painted by the previous owner and the paint job still has a nice shine to it. There are only a couple small chips. The chrome is very nice all around. The hydraulic lifting headlight doors and the sequential rear turn signals work! The Crager wheels and the extra-wide tires make this a total hot rod. The powerful 302 V8 sounds amazing and burns rubber when you floor it off the line... Always fun! Good luck with your bidding.
