1978 BMW R-Series

This BMW has been in my family since 1983 and is in very good condition. It is blue metallic paint that is in good condition. The carburetors were rebuilt about a year ago along with new fuel lines. This bike was completely gone through and parts that were no longer good were replaced with genuine BMW replacement pieces. Tires are as close to brand new that you can find. They were replaced with Continentals before the bike was put away for the season. The bike starts up every time and runs smooth. The windshield plexi-glass does need to be replaced on the Luftmeister fairing. The detachable hard plastic side bags are in very good shape and fully functional. I just took it for a ride around the block with my son and it is a joy to ride and very comfortable. Please let me know if there any questions that you have or if you need more pictures.
