This is a clean 2010 Nissan Murano I have driven for 5000 miles since.. I personally owned it ..I got it with 7200 miles on it..This is one of and the last late model insurance vehicles that our senior body and paint students here at our small Technical Career College in New Orleans, and with the help of the three instructors repaired..after purchasing it from and insurance company.. Next step in the process was to have the car inspected and deemed safe for re-instatement to be operated on the road again..by the state police. The reconstructed title was then issued by the state of Louisiana..after all repair verification paper work was turned in...There is a simular ( repair ,inspect ,& administrative procedure ) in all states for rebuilding, repairing ,and reconstructing cars. We purchased our late model vehicles from mainly.. State Farm & Allstate Insurance companies. The school had this program with this unique recycling component of buying, restoring and selling late model cars on e-bay from 2004 to 2011...Early 2012 severe cuts in funding for career education finally went into effect and the program had to be discontinued...We previously sold our vehicles through ..College Auto Sales..on e-bay and also at international auto auctions. Our business students would do the marketing and advertising of the vehicles..Over the seven year period we had customers buy cars from 24 states and 10 foreign countries.. all were pleased with their purchases ,and felt they not only saved alot of money on a late model car..but were impressed with the quality of work..and realized the money they spent went to a good cause...We had many customers call us back who had traveled over 1700 miles to come pick up their 1st purchased vehicle and now needed a second car .The cars we bought from insurance companies although were insurance salvage, they were classified as ( Run & Drive ) insurance cars...Which met they still ran and drove under their own power, and showed potential for successfull restoration..I hate to have to sell this 2010 Murano,I enjoy driving it..I had intentions on keeping it a long time ..however you will notice the license plate is a permanent handicap plate..Suffering from severe arithis makes it difficult getting in and out of the Murano...I have owned and driven these student/instructor repaired vehicle since 2005 and never hesitated to drive anywhere even on a long vacation ,The Murano was hit in the left rear section of the vehicle....Our policy was always to replace all damaged parts with new factory replacement parts from our local new car dealer..The Murano got a new.. 1.complete rear deck lid 2.rear bumper 3.left rear quarter panel ( inner and outer ), 4.tail light.assembly 5.rear left side trunk ( floor panel )...the Murano had a complete four wheel alignment..and tire balance recently and drives straight with no vibration at high or low speed , we also had the oil changed....Since the car was totaled by a insurance company... manufacturers do void the warranty...However any recall is a safety issue and regulated by federal highway & safety acts ..so a manufacturer has to notify who ever the owner is ,allow them to come in and have the recall item replaced or repaired at no charge to the registered owner...I do not think who ever wins this auction will be disappointed.
