Vehicle Detail

This is a geat running freshly restored Belair. It's equipped with a very strong rebuilt 409 and a fresh super T10 with a Hurst super shifter. The car is very solid and rust free. This is not a numbers matching car but is period correct. All the trim, emblems, moldings etc. have been polished or replaced. New original interior by C.A.R.S. Good glass with new windshield and vent glass.Bumpers have not been rechromed but are very presentable for a driver. Paint is a 10 in and out. New exhaust, brakes,U joints, carrier bearing, gas tank, sending unit, body mounts, rubber. I wouldn't be afraid to drive if anywhere but it is being sold as is where is with no warranty. Please don't bid if you can't buy! I will consider a 4wd tractor or skidsteer as partial payment. A $1,000 none refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close and the balance within a week. Payment with certified or cash funds. Shipping is on the buyer but i'll be glad to help with the arrangements. Any questions, please ask and I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks and good luck, the winning bidder will be getting a great car!On Mar-07-13 at 05:08:16 PST, seller added the following information: Lot of questions on the motor so here gos....It came out of a 65 Impala, bore is standard, crank is standard,(polished) intake is a factory aluminum #3814678(1962), carb is a 650 Edelbrock, all new valves, springs, retainers and seats(for todays poor gas), cam is a new hydraulic as are the lifters. The rods were magnafluxed and resized but are original. Block was align honed and decked. All new bearings, and a new water pump. Headers are from the 62 period and I can't remember the brand, but they are new. All machine work was done by Durhams Race Engines. All the engine parts came from the Show Cars Co.It has a resurfaced flywheel with HD 11 inch clutch, rebuilt starter and single wire alt. Trans(Borg Warner) is totaley rebuilt($1200)and it is mid 60s with the large fine spline output shaft. The suspention was in good shape so the springs were not replaced only the shocks. The car sits well. All new brakes, master cyl,and wheel cylinders. No posi and not sure of the gear but if I had to guess I'd say a 3:36.
