This car should be considered for parts only, or possibly to be restored, but it is super rusty, with structural rust. The Bad, Broken wipers/and the sheet metal around them I tore up getting to the wiper motor Tons of Rust 305,000 miles Messed up vacuum lines Worn interior 3rd row seat has been sold and it has been replaced with a different cover The GOOD The motor was replaced at Ken Garff Mercedes with a brand new crate motor 15 years ago and "only" 150,000 miles ago. I have full documentation on this. It starts up, runs and drives. Clear title I ll throw in a pair of used Gislaved snow tires that have 3 seasons on them, but they are studded and for a 300SD so bigger than normal Here is the story. I have owned this car since 2001. Super great vehicle. Just way too much rust to be considered safe. I love this car, still drive it around when I am bored, but it needs to be maintained and given some love if it were to be a safe driver.
