Vehicle Detail

Rare ’33 Buick Sport Coupe Mostly Original Survivor VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: VEHICLE HISTORY: This Buick “Survivor” has spent most of its life in Bowling Green, Ohio. It has an interesting history with photos and stories of its time spent in our town. My father purchased this car in the early 1970s and it has been in his collection since. He installed a Franklin overdrive to make it more drivable on the highways, gave it a paint job, a set of WWW tires, and re-chromed the bumpers to spruce it up a bit, and added a trunk for storage. He and my mother drove it to many Buick Club shows, including the 2003 Buick Centennial in Flint, MI. He is in his 90s now and not driving, so we are thinning out his collection. When he purchased it had vintage seat covers from the 1940s and he never took them off. Getting ready for sale we removed the seat covers and discovered the original upholstery in remarkably good shape. This piece of American history is a rare (only 1,000 produced) survivor and ready for a new caretaker to drive and enjoy! Price in 1933 without options = $1,270.00 MARQUE HISTORY: Four series of Buicks were available for 1933; Series 50, Series 60, Series 80, and Series 90. This example is a Series 60 (66-S) with a 127” wheelbase and the rare Sports Coupe with Rumble Seat. VEHICLE CONDITION: We do a mechanical and cosmetic inspection to each vehicle before listing it for sale. This report is included below will provide a reasonable description of the vehicle condition. Older vehicles are subject to normal wear and tear and we have tried to indicate the overall condition of the vehicle to the best of our ability. But, we can not always find everything that is not perfect with a vehicle, so independent inspections are welcome and encouraged. We drive each vehicle approximately 20 miles, but this is no indication of its long term road-worthiness. The only guarantee with an older vehicle is that someplace, sometime, something will need repaired! INSPECTION REPORT: Year 1933 Make Buick Model Model 33 – Sixty Six S Ext. Color Green Int.
