THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. This Charger has an Electrical issue that causes the Battery to be ‘dead’ after sitting for several hours, such as overnight. It has been to several dealerships to get this problem corrected, and as of yet, it still has this issue. It DOES NOT affect the way it runs, drives or otherwise operates. It has to be jump-started unless you remove the battery cable. DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one previously owned 2006 Dodge Charger. This was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky State Police. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. This Charger is Dark Blue, 4-Door, 5.7 Liter V8 Gasoline engine. The tires are P225/60R18 and are GoodYear Eagles which have a lot of tread life left. A lot more than half left. They look almost new. This engine “Appears” to be the HEMI engine, it does not state anywhere that it is a Hemi but it looks like the ones that I have seen. VIN: 2B3KA43H16H496589 GENERAL: This Vehicle is dark Blue in color. It is a 4 door vehicle. It seems that this Charger has an electrical problem that drains the battery with regularity. (I take the Positive Battery Terminal OFF when I am through for the day.) This car runs extremely well and drives very well. It has 107,674 miles on it. It has a working Police issue spotlight on the driver’s side beside the windshield in the “A” Pillar. There is an oversized Police issue interior light on the ceiling of the interior. Unlike these interior lights of days past, this one has 2 settings. The regular ‘White’ light (which isn’t working- - bulb must be burned out) and the second setting is Red. Red is to help you maintain sight after dark. The console is missing / gone. There are wires and exposed flooring and mounting bolts, etc. where the console was at one time. KSP probably had two way radios and computer equipment mounted there. (See Photos) There are two (2) vent covers on the top of the dash that have issues. One is gone; the other is loose or not seated properly. It may even be broken. The engine and transmission do not leak or drip fluids onto the ground. The transmission shifts just like it is supposed to and when it is supposed to. This car runs great. It is too cold to test out the Air Conditioner so I am not certain if it works properly, it seemed to but it was very cold and hard to tell how it cooled. The heater works good and so does the defroster and rear window defroster. The handling of this car is tight, solid and steering is very responsive. The battery is located in the trunk under the trunk mat and is beside the small spare tire. The tire jack is in there also. The Traction Control light stays on. DRIVER’S SIDE: Front Fender: It has several little scratches on the edge or corner where the side turns to becomes the top. 2-3 scratches are visible above the wheel well opening. Driver’s Door: There are 4-5 light scratches, mostly behind and below the door handle. Rear Door: It has 8-10 scratches and most of them are at the front edge near the top body line. Rear Quarter Panel: There is a scratch and a dent about the size of a quarter (coin) just behind the rear door opening and above the wheel opening. Up near the trunk lid there are a lot of thin little scratches. Also there are a couple of little scratches just forward of the tail light assembly. REAR END: Bumper: It has several scratches just below the bottom of the trunk lid. Where the bumper turns the corner towards the front on the driver side there are 3-4 scratches. Trunk Lid: The lid has 4 holes in it where the KSP had radio antenna mounted and are now removed. Those 4 holes have a rubber grommet in them to stop most leaks. There are a few scratches on the trunk lid. PASSENGER’S SIDE: Rear Quarter Panel: It has 1-hole up near the trunk lid where the KSP had an antenna. It has been removed and the hole plugged with a rubber grommet. There are a couple of light scratches on this quarter panel. Rear Door: It has 5-6 scuff marks, 2-3 chips in the paint and 2-3 light scratches. Front Door: There are 1-2 chips in the paint. Other than those chips, this door looks to be in good condition. Front Fender: Only 1-2 chips in the paint and 5-6 scratches. FRONT END: Bumper / Grille: It has several chips in the paint and some scratches and quite a bit of bug and/or road stains. There is a big scratch near the hood on the passenger side. Hood: There are several light scratches. There are a couple of chips in the paint. ROOF: There is 1-hole in the roof where the power cord for the light bar that the KSP had on top went through the roof and into the interior. The hole is plugged with a rubber grommet. There are some marks left by the light bar where it rode on the roof. It left some rub marks. WHEELS: All four wheels appear to be in really good shape. INTERIOR: It is dark Gray and Black. Black vinyl floor mat throughout except where it is missing under where the console used to be. There is NO console. There are NO floor mats. The seats appear to be in really condition. They have no rips, tears, cuts or damage as far as I could tell. There is, however, a plastic trim piece on the outside bottom edge of the drivers’ seat that is loose. It may just have a trim screw missing. This car has Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, Power Door Locks and Power external Mirrors. It has an AM / FM / CD stereo. There is also an electric trunk release button and a rear window defroster button in the dash. I had this vehicle running while these pictures were taken.
