Vehicle Detail

1995 Lexus SC300 5 Speed with 1JZ GTE Up for sale I have a beautiful 1995 Lexus SC 300. It has about 201xxx miles on the clock, but comes with a 1jz-gte swap which has about half as many miles. This model was shipped as an original 5 speed model, so this exact model is very rare indeed. I purchased this car originally back in October of 2011. I bought the car from Florida, where the swap was done. The car had 194,516 miles, so I only drove about 7000 miles in the last 17 months. It came in this custom gray color (2008 Lancer Evo metallic gray) and it came with the upgraded original Lexus body kit (SC models 1997-2000). In terms of the other upgrades that I know of are: Complete lowered Megan suspension. Custom intercooler with loud blow-off valve. Stage-2 clutch kit (not sure of brand, but the clutch is very sensitive!) Complete Magnaflow custom exhaust; Sounds like a race car! Staggered 18" ACR rims (front 9”, rear 10” with big lip) I have an original clean Illinois title, but the history of the car reveals an accident. I am guessing that’s when it was rebuilt and the swap was done. I haven’t had problems with the car, but these are the things I fairly recently have done to it: Replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder. Replaced the serpentine belt along with the belt tensioner and the harmonic balancer (the original belt was squeaking). The timing belt and water pump were replaced shortly before I got the car. I confirmed that when I saw that the parts looked clean and like brand new. Replaced two small oil lines from the turbo. Installed two new tires in the rear last summer and two new front tires just recently (02/20/13). Still plenty of life left in the back. Did a synthetic oil change 2000 miles ago. I only used Mobil 1 for my SC’s. All wheel alignment. There are no leaks and the engine pulls very strong. I have never abused its power though and have never really gone beyond 5k rpm. There is still plenty of power to be harvested from this engine with the proper mods, as this is one of the most popular engines among import fans that Japan has ever produced. By the way, both the heat and the AC work flawlessly. Here are some of the “negative” things about this car: Driver’s side interior trim panel is somewhat loose and has a small crack. Rear seat bench has two rips along the seams, which are easily repairable by an upholstery shop. Front bumper paint was scratched off when it was torn on one of those parking lot blocks. No cracks though! Overall, the exterior is a 9 out of 10 and interior is an 8.5 out of 10. The black leather still looks very sharp and together with the grey exterior gives this car a unique color combination. Also, the car comes decorated with original Toyota Soarer 2.5GT-T decals front to back. This may or may not be appealing to you, but this car gets a lot of looks on the street. It is a really nice car and I hate to sell it. It’s been my baby, but it’s time to move on to a family kind of car. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. The only forms of payment accepted are cash and Paypal and I would release the vehicle only when payment has been made in full. I don’t offer any financing.
