1951 Ford Country Squire. We purchased this car as a possibility to restore but seeing how much money and time is required to restore one of these we are deciding to go a different direction. Starting with the body it is somewhat the worse for the wear how ever it has what looks like factory undercoat which prevented most rust. We found and replaced the one front fender but the other has rust and is rough. Next the passenger side was hit at some time and the door was replaced with the door from a 1949 ford woody which has a different latch mechanism. I would say that both rockers should be replaced. The remainder of the body as well as the roof are solid except for the area under the gas filler. Underneath there is some rust out in the floor on the passenger side where it would appear the door was missing for some period of time. Other then that the floor pans are quite solid and structural. For the drive train there is no engine transmission or driveline and it appears that while the rear axle under it fits it, it is not original to the car. For the special woody only parts this car comes with front windshield trim drivers door trim both rear quarter trim and rear lift gate trim. Also it has two tail lights which are woody specific as well as a wood piece that lays behind the second seat to extend the flat area. Among the pieces missing are the third seat, the latches for the slider windows, the belt line trim, some of the chrome trim around the inside of the doors, and the parts for the passenger door. Wheels and tires pictured are from my daily driver and do not go with this sale but a set of rollers will be included. I am sure there is more I forgot so feel free to ask questions or for more pictures.
