We are selling our original paint 1988 BMW K100RS. The bike is in overall great condition. The Metzler Laser Tech tires are in like new condition front and rear. The front forks are in overall excellent shape and the fork seals don’t leak. The rear shock is adjustable for the type of comfort you prefer and is in like new condition. All of the handlebar controls are in great condition. The instruments and switches are in splendid working condition as well. This includes; the ignition switch, headlight HIGH and LOW beam switch and lights, all four flashers their switches and indicators, clock, speed-o, tachometer with trip and mileage, engine stop switch, start button, ABS switch, fuel gauge, & the gear position indicator. All of the dash lights and indicators work as well like the; engine temp, oil pressure, neutral, flashers, tachometer, speedo, ABS, choke, battery and fuel lights. The paint on this 5.81 gallon BMW fuel tank is in great condition. She's fitted with an aftermarket Parabellum windscreen and we don’t have the original. Also comes with original saddle boxes-and the original BMW saddle liners. This bike has had an extensive and complete servicing: battery, front/rear brake pads, oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air cleaner, tank flush w/ fuel injectors cleaned/synchronized. NOS-OEM and aftermarket parts include: Progressive shock (and I do possess the OEM), gas sending unit, ignition switch, tank emblems, grips, custom/reinforced extended side stand, cruise control, re-upholstered seat, ABS brake system, alarm system, and an air horn that sounds like a diesel truck! This bike has been garaged for the last 13 years and it’s taken a lot of time, money and energy to complete its resurrection. This K100rs model is a rare classic, and you will not find many like this example in the country/world especially in as excellent condition as this one. That said, the bike’s not perfect. It does have minor scratches/scuffs on the mirror covers and saddle boxes. The paint is original, and NOT restored. This bike needs nothing; you’ll literally put the key in it and ride it away As would any bike this age, she does have minor scratches/scuffs on the mirror covers and saddle boxes. Most importantly, though, the paint is original, the bike runs great, is very reliable and has no leaks. You can fly in to meet us at AEX and drive this bike home anywhere.
