Up for bid is a 1987 Honda Elite Scooter (motorcycle), 250cc engine, water cooled, with automatic transmission. 3,756 original miles (average of 150 per yr.). Overall length--75.6 inches Overall width--28.1 inches Overall height 43.9 inches Wheel base--49.6 inches Weight--280 lbs. Passengers--operator & one passenger New battery--Feb, 2012 New tires--June, 2004 Carborator cleaned (new gasket set) and gas tank flushed---Mar, 2012 Owner bought the M/C from the original owner in July, 1992. Oil and filter changed each year (some times twice per yr.). Air filter changed every two years. Always garage kept except when carried on the back of motorhome. Sale includes two helmets (one--very good condition one--average to poor condition). Plastic storage box (mounts on M/C). M/C carrier (mounts on a 4" towing receiver). 0wner's maual. The gas tank is under the seat. Secure place for helmets to be locked up. Glove box for storage of those importand items. This M/C will carry 350 lbs of passengers up steep mountain roads with no problem. It will cruse down the freeway at 70-75 mph with little effort. This Honda is the best ever designed for weight / size / with a 250 cc engine. Older M/C price guide (NADA) lists the value at $680 (very good) $965 (excellent). M/C runs and drives well, but is not completely flawless. The clock needs a battery. The plastic trim on both sides (near foot rests) is cracked (mostly caused by tie down straps).
