This 1946 Dodge Powerwagon originally was used in California at the Bear Creek Ski Resort for many years. It was eventually sold to a gentleman from New Mexico and has remained here for more than 20 years. I am the third owner. Originally a pickup with a bed, it was at some time converted to a flat bed and the step original step rails were shortened. It has a split shift 4 speed manual transmission ( engine and transmission are original) and a PTO driven winch. As you can see from the pictures, it is literally rust free, although at one time it did have the floorpans reworked. This truck runs wonderfully, starts easily every time, and blows no smoke ( white, blue, or black) . I have driven it 100 miles at a time with no issues, although top speed in 50- 55 miles per hour. The interior is impeccable, with no rips or tears. It has a leak in the driver's side rear wheel bearing, but this is a $40 fix. You would have to look a very long time to find a cleaner, nicer, more rust free original than this truck. I believe the miles to be original. Please refer to my ebay rating which is perfect . When selling older vehicles, people always want to know whether you can drive it home. This truck is almost 70 years old, and although I drive it around town with no incidents, I would suggest that it be trailored. I live in the mountains around Santa Fe, New Mexico. My wife and I would like to expand our cabin, and I use this vehicle so inflequently that it makes sense to sell to fund this project. You will not be disappointed.
