You are bidding on a super nice looking 1988 300ZX 2+2, z31 bodystyle. It is a V-6 with 160K miles on the odometer. New spark plugs, wires & distributor, new windshield wipers, and new oil pressure sending unit. It has an automatic transmission with power windows, power door locks, and power mirrors. Overall the interior is very clean (8/10) with seats that are in immaculate condition- no rips or tears, a dash that is not cracked, only a small tear on the driver's side door panel (see picture), and still has a working original stock AM/FM cassette player. The T-tops are solid and do not leak. The carpet in the hatchback area is very worn, as noted in the picture, but can be replaced fairly inexpensively with aftermarket carpet readily available at Motorsportsauto.com.....or just stick a box containing a set of 10" speakers and no one will ever know! When I bought this car, the exterior had some minor rust, but that was professionally repaired and then repainted candy apple red this past December. The paint job came with a four year warranty on labor and paint, which will be included with the sale of this car. Custom vinyl graphics were professionally installed and really set this 300Z apart from others. Not only does the car shine like crazy, so do the custom chrome wheels. In addition, the prior owner had a custom exhaust system installed which included the removal of the catalytic converter. So, it sounds impressive, not obnoxious....and really gets up and goes! If you are in a state that requires emissions inspections, keep this in mind. In short, this is a sweet/fun ride that gets attention everywhere I drive it! I have too many Z cars and not enough driveway space, so the wife says that this one has to go. I am a Z car lover/freak and enjoy restoring these cars in hopes that they will be on the road for years to come. This is a great car at a reasonable price. Beware of other sellers who provide vague descriptions and do not show you more than just a few pictures of the car. What are they trying to hide??
