THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. Description: You are bidding on one previously owned 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. This Blazer was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky Division of Air Quality. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1GNDT13W42K187417 General: This Blazer is White in color and is a 4-door, 4-wheel drive SUV. It has Gray cloth seats and carpeting throughout. There are matching floor mats. There are only 133,709 miles on this SUV. It has the 4.3 Liter Gasoline V6 engine in it. The tires are P225/70R15. There is a spare tire with this vehicle and it is up under the rear of the Blazer. There is a tire jack and it is in its proper spot just inside the rear on the left and in its compartment. . The engine sounds good and runs well. There are no drips or leaks that are visible. It seems to be smooth running and starts right up. The Transmission seems to shift well and seems to work ok. The Air conditioner “might” work, it was cold outside and it did blow cold air. But you can’t give it a fair test in the cold weather. The heater works properly as it blows out where it should and gets plenty hot. There is NO receiver hitch. PLEASE note that the driver’s door drops a little when it is opened. Approx. 1/4 inch maybe a little more. There is a worn bushing in the hinge. This Blazer has a good stance and looks really good with exception to the things listed below. With a little more cleaning and some good detail work, this Blazer would really look fine, inside and out. It seems to drive just fine. It has a little wind noise from where the door hinge has a worn bushing. DRIVER SIDE: FENDER: There are 7-8 small chips in the paint and a few small scratches. DRIVER DOOR: There are a few small scratches and a few little chips in the paint. The most noticeable are forward of the door handle and are a series of three (3) chips in the paint, one above the other, and a ‘hair-like’ scratch around them and then up the door about 3”. There is some residue from where the KY State Seal was removed. It should clean up nicely though. REAR DOOR: This door has 8-10 chips in the paint. 2 of them are just behind the handle on the door. Most of them are on the body line above the wheel well opening. REAR QUARTER: There are a couple of minor scratches. BACK END: TAILGATE: The window will open separately from the tailgate. The window opens UP and then you reach inside and pull up on the handle and the tailgate folds down. Also on the tailgate is the wiper and washer. Rear Bumper: It has a bumper sticker that has faded white and some residue from where I was able to get another one off of the bumper. There is a little dent in it on the driver’s side near the center. Other than that, the bumper looks pretty good. PASSENGER SIDE: REAR QUARTER: This panel looks good although there ‘could’ be some very light scratches or scuffs. The painted portion of the bumper that wraps around the rear corner has a scratch on it. It is about 1” x 2” and right on the corner. REAR DOOR: This door has a few chips in the paint and a scratch above the door handle. PASSENGER DOOR: The door has a couple of chips in the paint and a couple of little scratches. There may be some glue residue from where we removed the KY State Seal. FENDER: There are a couple of chips in the paint and a couple of minor scratches. FRONT: HOOD: Several light scratches and a couple of chips in the paint. GRILL: It has a few chips in the White paint but the chrome parts look to be good. BUMPER: It has 2-tow hooks in it and numerous chips in the paint. WHEELS: They all look good. One of them is missing the small center cap. The Tires all look to be in good shape and the tread looks to have much more than half of its tread life left in/on them. ROOF: There are roof racks that are standard factory issue. There are also a few small chips in the paint near the front. INTERIOR: The interior is Gray and Black. The seats are Gray cloth. They are ALL in very good shape. Not rips, tears, cuts or signs of any breakdown in the materials. There may be a couple of stains on them, but I was looking for problems and did not see any. The carpet is Black throughout the vehicle. The console has several storage compartments in it. Under the arm rest on console is a tray and you can lift out that tray and there is a much larger storage area on down in there. There is a place for several CD Jewel cases. Some cup holders and some shallow compartments to keep things in place. The cargo area has four tie-down loops in the floor and a red strap that used to be home for a fire extinguisher. DASH: It has an AM/FM/CD Stereo. There is also two (2) 12V power supplies up under the dash on the passenger side. The rear wiper / washer button, 4-Wheel Drive selector buttons, and the rear hatch release button are in the dash too. This SUV has Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power External Mirrors and Cruise Control. There are dual front airbags. The cigarette lighter is missing. There is an over-head console and it has several small compartments, like storage for your glasses/sunglasses, garage door remote, etc. The over-head console has directional four seat lighting and a dome light. The Compass settings buttons are located up there also. The headliner looks to be in good condition also. The rear seats are is a split dual folding cloth seats. Be sure to look at the pictures. This vehicle was running while these pictures were being taken.
