THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. PLEASE MAKE SURE OF YOUR FINANCING BEFORE BIDDING!! DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one previously owned 2006 Ford Expedition XLT. This Expedition was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky Commission on Horse Racing. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1FMPU16536LA78982 GENERAL: This Vehicle is White in color and is a 4-wheel drive. It is a 4-door vehicle and has a lift-gate in the back. The window of the lift-gate will open separately from the lift-gate. The rear window has a wiper and a washer. The engine is a 5.4 Liter V8 Gasoline engine. This Expedition has 124,698 miles on it now. The tire size is: P265/70R17. This SUV has ‘anti-locking’ brakes. The heater works fine and gets good and hot but it has been cold and I haven’t gotten a fair test of the Air Conditioner, it did blow cold air on a cold day. I had the engine running while I was taking these pictures. All of the 4-Wheel-Drive Ranges work great. There is a noise that is supposed to be there when going into OR out of LOW range, and it does have it, it is normal. DRIVER’S SIDE: Front Fender: It has 3-4 chips in the paint and several very small scratches. Driver’s Door: It has several small chips in the paint that are mostly below and to the rear of the door handle and several very small scratches. 4-5 small dings or dents just under the window and along the edge of the door behind the handle. There may be some glue residue from where we removed the KY State Seal. Rear Door: It has a small Blue scuff mark near the center of the door. There are a couple of small chips in the paint and a couple of small light scratches. Rear Quarter Panel: There are 4-5 small chips in the paint and there may not be that many as some of these may be ‘road-tar’. REAR END: Bumper: The Black part is in pretty good shape except just above the 7-way Round plug for trailer connections, there is a small tear in the plastic. The White painted part of the bumper on the driver’s side, has a chip in the paint and a couple of long Green scuff marks that are approx. 4” long each, one is just above the other. They “may” buff out, and then there may be a scratch left under there, not sure. The painted White part of the bumper on the passenger’s side has a chip or scratch in the paint and it is under the tail light assembly. The Receiver Hitch has a little paint missing and a little surface rust there. It also has Electrical hook-ups for the 4-way ‘flat’ plug and the 7-way ‘round’ plug. Lift Gate: The glass will open separately from the rest of the liftgate. The glass or window has defroster wires in it. Below the “FORD” emblem, some paint has blistered up between the emblem and the plastic piece. That plastic piece has faded and is supposed to be Black. The rest of the liftgate may have a couple of chips in the paint and perhaps a couple of small scratches. PASSENGER’S SIDE: Rear Quarter Panel: It has a few chips in the paint and 3-4 small scratches. There are a series of small scratches on the body line that look as if there is 1 Long scratch. These scratches are approx. 9” in length. Rear Door: It has 1 scratch near the front door and it is about 2” long. There could be a couple of other scuff marks that may be scratches. Front Door: There are 2 or 3 scratches at the top of the door under the window near the rear door. There may be some residue from the removal of our KY State Seal. The rest of the door only has a couple of small scuffs or scratches. Front Fender: Only a few light scratches. There are a couple of chips in the paint. FRONT END: Bumper: It has Fog Lights and 2 tow hooks in the lower portion of the front end under or in the bumper. The White paint area of the bumper has a few scratches and a lot of chips in the paint as well as some bug residue that will need some serious cleaning. Grille: It looks to be in good condition. Hood: There is one dent (that I saw) in the hood, it is near the center of the hood but it is on the passenger’s side. It is not a big dent but a dent none-the-less. The front edge of the hood has some paint missing in a couple of spots. There are a couple of other spots along the front edge where the paint is blistered. It appears that a good portion of the front half of the hood has some ‘road-tar’ splattered about on it. I tried to get it off, It can be done, but I could not spend that kind of time on doing that. ROOF: There is the factory luggage rack up on the roof. The roof needs a good scrubbing but appears to be free of any dents and has no holes in it. WHEELS: All four wheels are okay but they could stand to be cleaned up a little better or even repainted. But they are not that bad as is. INTERIOR: It is Gray with a Black vinyl mat on the floor throughout. The front seats are darker Gray and cloth. The front seats are 40/60 seats. The driver seat is a bucket seat. There is seating for a third person in the middle, complete with a seat belt. This middle seat has a folding back rest that doubles as an arm rest if no one is using it as a seat. The driver’s seat is power adjustable plus lumbar support adjustment. The passenger seat has manual adjustment. The front seats would look a lot better if they had a good cleaning as there are stains or ground in dirt on all seats, mostly the cloth front seats. These seats have no rips, tears or any break-down-of –materials. They are firm and comfortable. The rear seats are vinyl split folding seats. The SUV has Tilt Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Door Locks, Power Windows and Power external Mirrors. It has driver and passenger side Airbags. Both front and rear window wipers and washers are on the turn signal arm. The dash has AM/FM/CD/Cassette. Also it has Air Conditioning, but NO rear Air Conditioning, as such. There is a button in the dash for the ‘rear window defrost’ which also includes and defrosts the rear side window on the passengers’ side. Cup holders and the ashtray slide out and the cigarette lighter and the 12-Volt Power Supply are on the door of the slide out piece. The interior lights and cigarette lighter are not working. I suspect a blown fuse and they are possibly on the same fused circuit. Over the front seats are double sun visors and each one has a covered vanity mirror in it. The mirrors are NOT lighted. The rear seats fold down and then you can pull a strap under them and they kind of squat on down for a little more storage or cargo space. The Cargo Area has NO provisions for a Third Row Seat. The cargo area does have a 12 Volt Power Supply and 4 cup holders built in. There is a full size spare under the back of the SUV. The tire jack is in the rear of the Cargo Area in the floor under that door in the floor. I had this vehicle running while I was taking these pictures.
