UPDATE: AS OF MONDAY 02/18/2013: I decided that I wanted to be more informed as to what was wrong with the vehicle after I originally listed it here, so, that no one was in for a bad surprise once they purchased the car if they chose to do so. It turns out, the noise was the transmission going out on the vehicle. We had it fully inspected at a local repair shop & due to the fact that there were limited quantities of parts of this specific transmission (cvt) they cannot fix the problem inside the trans, they have to replace the entire transmission. I have gotten two quotes so far: One quote was for $1700.00 for the transmission & labor & one quote was for $2465.00 for trans and labor. I will be happy to let you speak with the transmission shop that it is at to verify everything that I am saying or have them put it in writing. You are also welcome to have your mechanic or yourself look at it. I personally have no intent to fix the vehicle at this time, since I was already selling it just for financial reasons. I understand that it could take a couple thousand dollars to fix, so, I am going to price it at $3900.00 or best offer. The vehicle does not safely engage in drive, so, it will need to be towed to your location. If you are within 20 miles of my location, I can have it towed to you at my cost.. That is the only thing wrong with the vehicle. It is a beautiful vehicle, that would make an incredible "mechanics special".. If you purchase it, I will also give you the names of the places that will fix it at those prices since the actual ford dealership would want thousands more. *** I also called & talked to ford & the customer service rep said that there could be a recall on this transmission in the future & if so, they will reimburse repairs & replacements.. so, if you do buy it & repair it- please keep every record you can **** Any questions please ask! This is a 2005 ford freestyle limited edition It has beautiful leather & all options including moonroof & heated seats & climate control! it has factory premium rims & it is a beautiful shiny black! the pictures honestly do this car no justice! THIS AWESOME VEHICLE CAN SEAT 7 PEOPLE COMFORTABLY WITH THE THIRD ROW SEATING! TRULY AN AWESOME CAR! It has 113k miles on it & drives with no problem (before the transmission went out) ! It has newer tires on it, I would say they are about 5,000 miles old. The oil was recently changed & it is not due for another one 1500 miles. The windows are tinted all around & there is a pioneer cd player that was professionally installed & it has a usb hookup right on the cd player to hook up your cell phone or iphone / ipod or mp3 player. There is also HID xenon headlights installed :) All speakers have been upgraded & professionally installed The interior of the vehicle is in wonderful shape, never smoked in or anything - it smells fresh & looks clean. THERE IS GORGEOUS LEATHER THROUGHOUT.. THE DRIVER SEAT HAS NORMAL WEAR, BUT, NO RIPS OR HOLES, THE ONLY OTHER MENTIONABLE FLAW TO THE INTERIOR IS A MARK THE SIZE OF A QUARTER ON THE REAR ARMREST.. IT IS A SCUFF. THIS HAS HEATED SEATS & IS SUCH A COMFORTABLE VEHICLE The exterior of the vehicle has a few very minor dings here & there the kind that happen from normal driving- they are not the kind where the paint is missing, just small minor dings. THIS VEHICLE (IN DRIVING CONDITION) BOOKS BETWEEN 7-8,000! The vehicle is gorgeous, inside & out.. It is the limited edition with every option you could want including 3rd row seating. It seats 7 people! Please ask any and all questions!
