For sale is my 1971 Datsun 240z. This is a PROJECT vehicle, but is a good starting point for someone looking for a project. I am including an second engine with the auction as well as a pile of new and used parts to help with the restoration. I have well over $3500 invested in this vehicle, but unfortunately life has become too busy to complete it. The floor pan on the drivers side is in need of replacing (see photo) but the passenger side is repairable as is. There is a large dent on the drivers side quarter panel, but a good body man should have no problem repairing it. The cam gear was removed from the engine prior to me purchasing it and the timing chain has fallen into the timing cover. Therefore I do not know the condition of the engine that is in the car. I have purchased a replacement engine from a friend who wrecked his Z. The engine was running great before it was removed from the vehicle and only had approximately 15k miles on it. There is no radiator with the car. The interior is mostly complete with the exception of a few miscellaneous parts. The carpet is in need of replacing. The body shows minimal rust, and there is minimal rust in all of the expected areas. The state of Alabama does not issue titles for vehicles of this age, therefore I will only be giving a bill of sale to the buyer. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any question.
