Although originally plated 661 JFK this is Obviosly not really JFK's car :) But, this is a nice example of late model FIAT 850 Sport Spyder. Sadly I am concentrating on my real work than my hobby so I am selling all my favorite projects and this FIAT is one of them. California car since it was first imported here from Italy still sporting its original 70s blue/yellow plates. Plates are also digited on the title so they will stay with the car. Except from the front left corner on the hood this would be a rust free car. I have not detected any other rusted parts throughout the entire car. My intention was to turn this FIAT into a very good runner and at the same time giving it a sportier look. Starting from the aluminum wheels that are a bit beefier than the original ones so they go wider in the back very close to the fender yet without really touching it. These wheels also use centerline lug nuts so the handling is tight and secure. The tires in the back are in very good condition while the tires in the front are brand new and slightly thinner since I needed to go a step smaller in order to have total clearance. The body of the car is extremely straight with absolute no sign of body damage, collission of any kind, no body filler was ever put on the car not adjustments of any kind, this is a good straight body. This FIAT was forgotten inside a warehouse for almost 2 decades. In the spare time I started the reconditioning process. I put brand new piston rings, head, valves all has been redone. I purchased a complete set of gaskets for everything, carburetor has been rebuilt and never put on til now just for the pictures. the engine floor panel or belly of the engine bay has been bead blasted and is in great condition. A fully charged fairly new battery is in the front along with the original tool set the original spare. The last and essential steps needed in order to have a runner are: Drop the gas tank have it professionally boiled/cleaned. This precedure is mandatory since the tank is extremely dirty and has been collecting grime for a very long time. Make sure fuel lines are clean. Radiator to be boiled as well. Other cosmethical issue would be the convertible top frame is there though the canvas was totally dry so it's gone. The driver side seat came undone of the top left part, this should be an easy fix without re upholster the whole seat. Door panels are in excellent shape. I put all new holding screws and it looks great. I am available during all weekdays to show the car for inspection my contact numbers are listed below.
