This is a 1954 ford Customline Club Coupe, model 72B, this is the very rare club coupe, which has the smaller back windows. The body on this car is very nice but has had some bottom side repairs, on both sides the inner and outer rockers have been replaced. The quality of the work is very good, externaly there is no evidence of repair, from the bottom it is obvious, whoever did the work did it nicely, even the supports that go from the inner rocker to the frame have been nicely reconstrucked, floors are good, rear lower quarters are very good( they may have been replaced). I've included some bottom side photos but they don;t really show how well this was done. Bottom of the doors and front fenders are good. All flat body panels are very straight and nice. The car is a total repaint and it is very nice quality and the original colors, paint code B Blue M white. Grill is good, both front and rear bumpers look new.Glass is all good. Interior is a combination of new and original, the front seat covering has been redone and is an excellent match to the original rear. Door panels look new, windlace is new, dash is very nice, wheel and horn ring are nice, headliner is original. Engine looks like the original 239, it has a 2 barrel with single exhaust, looking at the paint and external condition the engine has probably been out and rebuilt. Trans is a Ford 2 speed, engine and trans both perform well. There are no hub caps(I'm looking for a set of originals), wheels have been repainted, tires are 6.70x15 black wall bias ply, good tread but show some age. I believe you could drive this one home, however I always recommend hauling a new "old" car. Make short trips before venturing on long ones.
