DESCRIPTION: You are looking at a very sharp 1997 Dodge Ram Diesel Supercab. It runs excellent, it rides excellent, and it drives excellent. This is a really sharp looking truck that has nice really nice paint and an a far above average luster and appeal. It is a metallic chestnut and driftwood pearl two-tone paint. The interior is also in very nice shape. The headliner is excellent, the carpeting is very good, the seats are nice, the dash is perfect, etc.. There are some imperfections like some small stains, a couple small tears in the visors, etc.. But to look at this truck I am sure you would agree with me it is way above average! This is a Oregon high desert truck - they don't use salt here, and it has no rust problems! The underside is CLEAN! The Ram diesel is set up to tow. It has a fuel transfer tank on board, with a small tool box on top giving you an extra 30 gal of diesel to make those fuel stops fewer and further between. It also has an exhaust brake - a very expensive add on - it is over $1000 just in parts (+ labor!) It has a BANKS twin ram air intake, banks temp and boost guages, an electric brake controller that is set up in the bed of the truck for 5th wheel towing, and in the rear by the receiver hitch for towing standard trailers. I don't know of anything that doesn't work on her, or that is ugly or in need of attention. If I did I would mention it here and now. It also has some really cool aftermarket towing rear view mirrors that are both electrically aimed and have a power telescoping feature to push them out about a 12" or so. Pretty awesome! It smokes a little bit when you first start it up after sitting for a while, but it clears up after about 5 min or so and then is 100% smoke free. It gets really good mileage - as you probably know these trucks get better than 20mpg on average and can be as high as 23-24mpg when not towing. That is incredible - it is better than my minivan!
