I am selling my 2002 Toyota Prius. I have had this car for about 2 years and put more than 40,000 miles on it within this period. I am the second owner of this car, and I obtained all service records from the first owner. It was well maintained by a toyota dealership. The car runs and drives great, and I average over 50 miles per gallon during the summer, and 45 -50 miles per gallon presently. The car comes with an in-dash 6 CD changer, cassettee player, automatic transmission and all those good stuff. The front tires are low on thread, but the rear tires have good thread. A brand new traction battery was replaced by Toyota in June 2009 under warranty, what I have here is a car with pretty much brand new battery. The negatives on the car include 1). Cracked windshield (started as a tiny spect and over the years the crack had propagated as a thin line), 2) The check engine and the orange triangle dashboard lights are on. I bought the car with those lights on, and when I diagnosed it, diagnosis shows it is an interlock issue, probably came about when the battery was replaced. Due to the interlock,you have to turn the key twice to start the car. This does not affect the operation of the car in any way, and I have used it like that for about 2 years without any problem. Please feel free to come test-drive the car, and bid only if you are interested. I have enjoyed this car, and I have never had a problem with it.
