1969 Mercury cougar project car,has been in dry heated storage since 1990. This car does look to be very original with exception of radio missing and top end of engine missing,i do not know if the engine is the original engine,car does needs full restoration. Serial Number 9F94M542991 I purchase two 1969 M code Cougar's off a local gentleman who recently and suddenly passed away who had a passion for Cougar's and never got a chance to restore either cars,this is a great project car. This car is very solid with good factory options,i will add more pictures of the bottom of the car as time allows,the pictures i show of the door jam,door post,trunk area show no rust,yes it has filler in the quarter panels and other area's of sheet metal. The factory burnt orange color was painted over with what looks like black jade. I did look at the undercarriage on a lift before i purchased this car and it is very solid with some floor pan rust,in my opinion the torque box's and all front and rear frame rails look very nice and rust free with lot's of oil and grease and factory undercoating.
