I am going to be moving across the country so I am going to be selling off my project truck. It is a 1959 Ford F100 Short Bed 2wd with a Clear Notorized Arizona Title. The truck has been stripped to a bare rolling shell. The front suspension from a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria has been Installed. This allows for a 5 inch front drop with Power Rack and Pinion Steering and 12" front disk brakes. The cost for the parts by themselves was over $700. The installation of the suspension was done by professional auto mechanics and the local college welding instructor (It has beautiful heavy show quality welds). It last had a 302 Ford engine mounted in it but my plans were to put in a Ford 4.6 Dohc 32 Valve 290hp Engine from a 1993-1998 Lincoln Mark 8. The engine will mount right to the Crown Vic crossmember!! Infact I was going to pick up a complete donor Mark 8 and swap in all the power train, complete wiring and the independent rear suspension from the car. The body is very solid with minor surface rust. It does have some dings and dents. The worse of the body dents is the passenger door that has one base ball dent and a lot of smaller dents that had been covered up with bondo which is falling out. Someone took a plasma cutter to the bottom of the fire wall (have the piece that was cut out). It is missing the rear tailgate and bumpers. Has a 9 inch ford rear end with drum brakes. The front tires are off the Crown Vic and are 16" and in good shape. The rear tires are old off road tires on 15" wheels. The front windshield has large cracks in it and will need to be replaced. I have new drivers side glass that needs to be installed. The rest of the glass is good. It will need some trim pieces like emblems, knobs, gauges and etc. if you are looking for a stock appearence. This is going to be a great project for someone and most of the dirty work has already been completed. Almost every part to fix up this truck is available brand new. I will delivier the vehicle nationwide for $1.50 a mile. I can include a 16 foot Carson car trailer with a new wood deck for an additional $1200.
