i am selling this cloud III for a friend who is not at all internet savvy, i think he still has an 8 track player in his daily driver!! this cloud III runs great and has just had a BRAND NEW transmission fitted last december which was only a month ago. the brakes have had the following work done: both master cylinders have been machined and sleeved by white post restorations in Va who are renowned masters of this kind of work. and both master cylinders have been rebuilt with all new rolls royce factory rubber parts. all four front wheel cylinders and both rear wheel cylinders have been rebuilt with all new rubber parts, also from the main dealer, albers rolls royce in zionsville indiana. albers specialize in parts for older rolls royce and bentley automobiles and have supplied many parts for this car. eight new brake shoes have been fitted. the four front brake flexible rubber lines were replaced also. the friction servo brake booster has been rebuilt. in short the car has had a thorough brake job done. and the tires have maybe a couple of thousand miles on them. since all the rebuilding rebuilding work was done this grand old dame has had VERY little mileage put on the clock. speaking of which the mileage is somewhat of a mystery as any vehicle over 10 years old is exempt from a mileage statement on the title. the old girl has also just had new plug wires and new champion RN12YC spark plugs fitted the generator has also been rebuilt. the old car had been sitting for a couple of years and my advice to the new owner would be to check everything out and make any adjustments needed before taking this old girl on a long interstate type drive. but don`t get me wrong, i`m not saying she would be problematical driving cross country right now but she IS just over 50 years old. having said that she starts first turn of the key and and you can drive around the parking lot and onto a trailer with no problem whatsoever but she is not currently registered for the road. and i think it would be prudent to perform a thorough check over, its just good sense. the big old rolls royce V8 motor always starts up very easily and runs very well with lots of power and no funny noises. the gas tank has been drained of the old stale gas and fresh gas put in. the old girl has lots of curb appeal and gets lots of comments just sitting in the parking lot, she would be the perfect car for weddings and proms and she has had DUAL AIR CONDITIONING FITTED! thats right, one system in front and ANOTHER in the trunk so you can be guaranteed of freezing A/C even in the hottest climate. i encourage anyone to come and check this car out in person. my buddy has a lift to put the car up in the air and any inspection is welcome. in my opinion this car would be a GREAT money earner doing weddings et cetera and also a nice weekend cruiser. this old lady is NOT a show car but looks great from ten feet. she was painted about ten years ago and has always been kept inside and has held up well. full payment by bank wire or cash in person is required within seven days of auctions end. the VIN is SEV411 and my buddy has clear title in hand. shipping to england, europe, australia et cetera is no problem at all and charleston port is three hours away. bid to win and good luck to you all. any questions call 864 616 6860 until 10.30 pm east coast time. thanks.
