THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. Description: You are bidding on one previously owned 1998 Jeep Cherokee. This Jeep Cherokee was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky Division of Water. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1J4FJ28S2WL152095 General: This Cherokee is White in color and is a 4-door, 4-wheel drive SUV. It has Gray cloth seats and carpeting throughout. There are NO floor mats. There are only 89,279 miles on this SUV. It has the 4.0 Liter Gasoline In-Line 6-Cylinder engine in it. The tires are P225/75R15. There is NO spare tire with this vehicle. There is a tire jack. The engine sounds good and runs well. There are no drips or leaks that are visible. It seems to be smooth running and starts right up. The Transmission seems to shift well and seems to work ok. The Air conditioner does work and the heater works properly as it blows out where it should and gets plenty hot. This entire vehicle has some oxidation or some black film on it. We have scrubbed it a little. The carpet might become a little cleaner if you have the energy and time as well as some good cleaners. DRIVER SIDE: FENDER: There are a couple of small scratches in the paint and 2-3 small chips in the paint. DRIVER DOOR: There is some residue from where the KY State Decal was removed. It should clean up nicely though. REAR DOOR: This door looks to be in good condition. REAR QUARTER: There is couple of scuff marks or minor scratches in the body line above the fuel fill door. BACK END: LIFTGATE: Several light scratches. The rear window wiper arm has some paint faded and gone and a little surface rust is visible on it. The black plastic/rubber piece that is over the license plate has a faded spot in it. The lift gate support shocks that hold the gate open and keep it from slamming shut are weak and will not hold it open. It needs to be propped up right now. Rear Bumper: It has some spots on the very top of it where the paint is completely gone. There are two (2) bumper stickers on it also. PASSENGER SIDE: REAR QUARTER: This panel looks good although there ‘could’ be some very light scratches or scuffs. REAR DOOR: This panel looks good although there ‘could’ be some very light scratches or scuffs. PASSENGER DOOR: This panel looks good although there ‘could’ be some very light scratches or scuffs. FENDER: There is a spot smaller than a dime in size that is rust color or orange color in the paint a little bit behind the radio antenna. Other than that, this panel looks good although there ‘could’ be some very light scratches or scuffs. FRONT: HOOD: Several small scratches and two chips in the paint. One of them is about the size of a nickel and one is about the size of a dime. GRILL: It looks to be in good shape. BUMPER: It has a bumper sticker on it. It looks to be in pretty descent shape. ROOF: There are NO roof racks and no holes where any antenna used to be. There is some surface rust where paint is missing in a few places all around the gutter line. There is one small dent or a good ding in the roof. There is a chip of paint missing above the front windshield. INTERIOR: The seats are Gray cloth and vinyl. They are ALL in very good shape. Not rips, tears, cuts or signs of any breakdown in the materials. There doesn’t seem to be any stains on them either. The carpet is Gray throughout the vehicle. For the most part, it is dirty, and needs a good shampoo job. There don’t appear to be many stains in the passenger area except for a couple of little ones; one of them is in the passenger front floor area near the door. The carpet in the cargo area looks to be pretty good. It may have a stain that we might have missed. The cargo area has four tie down loops in the floor. DASH: It is Black over Gray. It has an AM/FM Stereo with a small factory Equalizer on it. There is also a 12V power supply, rear wiper / washer button. The Jeep has power external mirrors. Center console has two (2) cup holders and an ash receptacle in it. The console also consists of an arm rest with storage underneath and the 4-wheel drive range shifter and the regular transmission shifter. That is also where the Parking brake is. The headliner looks to be in good condition also. Be sure to look at the pictures. This vehicle was running while these pictures were being taken.
