The 2002 is one of BMW's most famous automobile models. Its popularity cemented the company's reputation for compact sporting sedans and served as forerunner of the BMW 3 Series. I purchased this vehicle from a previous owner in which his father was the original owner who since passed away. I purchased the car from the son, who lost the title, therefore I bought the car with no title and a bill of sale only, which is how I must sell it. I simply have not had the time to research how to acquire the title since my plans were to keep the car forever, aparently it's a pretty simple process. When I acquired this car it did have the expected rust around the body, but in much better shape then most I looked at, which is why I scooped her up at first glance. All the floors were solid as well as no structural rust anywhere around the car. The strut towers are all solid and original, if they were rotted out, as well as the floors, I wouldn't of wasted my time with the car. The car did not run, but after some inspection, I found the fuel pump was bad and the fuel tank needed to be flushed, which I did. All the fuel lines were flushed as well. The car starts, runs, and drives, amazingly as a matter of fact for a 42yr old vehicle. All the fluids were changed in the original 2.0 engine and it now idles smooth. The car has been professionally repainted in the original white color. All underneath has been undercoated. The interior is pretty much original. The head liner is in great shape as shown in the pics. The passenger and rear seats are in good overall condition, beside the top bak of the rear seat which is shown in the pics as well. The drivers seat is in poor condition. All the floors, as I stated above, are rust and rot free. The brownish coloring you see on the front floors is from the carpet glue, it is not rust or corrosion. The dash is amazingly clean and free from cracks. The door cards are also in good condition and are not damaged in any way. You can go many different directions with this interior, ot has great potential. If you have been looking for a 2002 to have some fun with, rebuild or race, you can not go wrong with this one. It is ready to go for any plans you may have, and all the hard and expensive work has already been done. The original running engine in itself is worth plenty of cash, not to mention the body alone. Up for auction is this awesome little collectors piece, a 1970 BMW Tii which has been restored professionally and has been a pleasure to restore but all good things must come to an end. The 2002 is one of BMW's most famous automobile models. Its popularity cemented the company's reputation for compact sporting sedans and served as forerunner of the BMW 3 Series. I purchased this vehicle from a previous owner in which his father was the original owner who since passed away. I purchased the car from the son, who lost the title, therefore I bought the car with no title and a bill of sale only, which is how I must sell it. I simply have not had the time to research how to acquire the title since my plans were to keep the car forever, aparently it's a pretty simple process. When I acquired this car it did have the expected rust around the body, but in much better shape then most I looked at, which is why I scooped her up at first glance. All the floors were solid as well as no structural rust anywhere around the car. The strut towers are all solid and original, if they were rotted out, as well as the floors, I wouldn't of wasted my time with the car. The car did not run, but after some inspection, I found the fuel pump was bad and the fuel tank needed to be flushed, which I did. All the fuel lines were flushed as well. The car starts, runs, and drives, amazingly as a matter of fact for a 42yr old vehicle. All the fluids were changed in the original 2.0 engine and it now idles smooth. The car has been professionally repainted in the original white color. All underneath has been undercoated. The interior is pretty much original. The head liner is in great shape as shown in the pics. The passenger and rear seats are in good overall condition, beside the top bak of the rear seat which is shown in the pics as well. The drivers seat is in poor condition. All the floors, as I stated above, are rust and rot free. The brownish coloring you see on the front floors is from the carpet glue, it is not rust or corrosion. The dash is amazingly clean and free from cracks. The door cards are also in good condition and are not damaged in any way. You can go many different directions with this interior, ot has great potential. If you have been looking for a 2002 to have some fun with, rebuild or race, you can not go wrong with this one. It is ready to go for any plans you may have, and all the hard and expensive work has already been done. The original running engine in itself is worth plenty of cash, not to mention the body alone.
