Click small picture to enlarge. ClicPic Gallery Software. Description: Engine Runs! Up for a auction is a 1952 Chevrolet Short Bed 3100 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck. This truck is in great nearly original condition. The truck has a inline 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed transmission. The engine was been started but it has not been ran for a prolonged time as the carburetor needs a gasket. This truck has not been restored and only looks to have had the frame painted black. The body of the truck has resisted any major rust as it was kept in a barn for many years. The truck comes with nearly every part to make this a complete truck. The above pictures try to show every part that comes with this auction. The fenders walls, trims, running boards and tail gate all appear in good useable shape. The windshield and windows are all there and are not broken. This would make a very easy Hot Rod project or total restoration project as all the main parts are there. The rust that is there is mainly surface rust. The wood of the bed is almost all rotted out. The interior is nearly all apart but it appears that all the main parts are still with the truck. The seat frames and springs are still in the cab. This truck will be sold AS IS and only what is shown in the above pictures is included in the auction.
