Vehicle Detail

Beautiful Ford Píckup truck F100 Conventional, color Glacier Blue, 8 cylinder OHV 239 cid engine, 3 speed manual transmission, kept in original classic condition. You will see a lot of customized trucks in the market, but this is one of a kind in original condition. The restoration is about 90 to 95 %. I am selling it because I dont have more space for toys, I had to make a decisition among the cars I own and this this must go. Everytime I take this truck out for a ride, it catches all kinds of attention. People take pictures of the truck. NO RESERVE PRICE, NO BUY IT NOW. Let´s make of this deal a real auction. Whoever who will bid more, will get the car. The truk is ready for someone who appreciates the original look of the vehicle and would like to work in few details left to bring it to a 100% show condition, or, it is also ready for those who prefer to add their own touch, and make of this nice Ford Pick up truck a hotrod. The truck took part of several car shows until 4 years ago when it was kept in a warehouse. Color Glacier Blue, solid as a rock. Original everthing. The chasis, engine and suspension are super clean, carburator works flawless and turn on with just the press of the ignition botton. I have even the original manual and original brochure. The odometer reads 2330 miles, this is a complete un accurate number. I won't be able to tell you how many miles the truck has I am just a car aficionado, and I have had several nice cars over the years. I have been told that the combination of this truck in motor and transmision are a nice to have. Clean title, and ready to be yours. There is a plate at the inside of the globe box that shows all details of the truck. (if you want the picture let me know). One of the most important numbers is the SERIAL NUMBER: F10V4L-15723. This is what the serial number means: F10 - F100 conventional V - OHV 8 cylinder 239 cid 4- 1954 L - Assembly plant code, Long Beach 15723 - production number. The plate inside the globe box also has the color code D, Glacier Blue, that matches with the color of the truck. The engine block has the initials EBU (I can send the picture on request) that means that the truck has a 239 cuin V8. As you could figure it out by now, engine block and car plate match. Good news for the trully collectors. The photos show some detailing that will need to be made by the fortunate new owner in order bring the truck back to full splendor. - Rust in the bed door locks. - Replacing of the bed wood. The stainless steel trim is in perfect shape though. - The interior chromed hardware of the doors might need to be clean or re chromed. But they are in good shape - Lighting is missing in the instrument panel. Gauges work, it is just a matter of lights. - Windshield wiper blades are non operational - Some upholstery will be need in the floor carpet and Pillar B post - Once the engine gets washed, you will see how nice was it painted in red. The pictures only show a dirty engine on the top, but the engine will look very clean when washed. Remarks - All exterior lights and switches work - It turns at the first push of the ignition button - Drives very solid - All original : trimming, steering wheel, rims, no holes in the dash, recently chromed bumpers, - With exception of minor cosmeting things, the truck is rust free and structural in great shape. - The transmission works perfect, and the the motor is a blast. It accelerates amazing. - Nothing has been customized, the truck can easily bring back to participate in concours of elegance, shows or just to keep it for yourself and enjoy - It has 3 seat belts - Nothing loose in the truck, again, solid as a rock - Motor is in perfect condition. Runs fast, sounds sweet. - Original everthing, do you want better than that? All matches with the truck plate and the engine block number. The truck will be kept, cover in a different location from my house. If you want to see it, or you want to send someone in your behalf to see it for you, let me know 24 hrs in advance. If you want to see it over a weekend. let me know by thursdays the latest. I won´t so anything outside ebay, so please don´t even suggest it. If you are the lucky winner of the auction, a deposit of $500 via paypal will be necesary 1 day after the auction closes. The rest will have to be covered via wire transfer or cash in person as per our phone conversations after the auction finallizes. I don´t take trades of any kind.
