Up for auction is a 1998 BMW 740 il. This car is full loaded, power everything, heated seats, and all the bells and whistles. I use this car as my everyday driver. I have put alot of new parts on it in the last month or so. It has new plugs, coils, injectors, coolant hoses, radiator, front brakes and rotors, MASS air flow sensor, OVS, valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, O2 sensors, front end suspension parts, (minus struts). The car runs good, shifts well, just had transmission flush, and they did the pan gasket at that time. The interior of the car is in good shape, no rips or tears. The dash has the normal pixel problems as most 7 series do. Everything works inside the car, heated seats, mirrors, ect. The headliner was sagging like most, and does have a few thumb tacks in it. The leather is in good shape front and back. The front cupholder under the radio do not work properly. The glove box latch is also broken, the car was broken into and they tried to get in a locked glove box and broke it. The body of the car is in fair shape, not rust holes or anything, the paint looks pretty good when shined up, there is a dent in the right front fender, I will show in picture, also it is missing a front fog lamp. All the windows work, as well as the sunroof. The windshield was hit by a rock while driving and does have 3 cracks on the passenger side, does not affect the drivers field of view. The rear suspension squeaks alittle bit, BMW dealership said it was the wishbone making the noise.The tires are in good shape, wouldnt hurt to have a balance done tho, it shakes a bit right around 60mph, nothing bad tho. Overall the car is in good condition and runs well. The only thing wrong with the car is the AIR IDLE CONTROL is acting up alittle bit, it does not affect the driving of the car but does sometimes make it idle a little weird, it will throw a check engine light for it but will reset it self after the car shuts down. This is a good car and will be started at a low price with no reserve. GOOD LUCK! I WILL NEED A $500 DEPOSIT WITHIN A DAY OF WINNING, THE REST IN CASH ON PICK UP.
