Vehicle Detail
1986 Suzuki Samurai 1.6L NA Diesel (82 VW Rabbit, 130k miles, new timing belt, new glow plugs) Acme Adapters (official kit) 88.5 5spd Transmission (lower 5th gear) 34" Super Swamper LTBs - great tread left, easily 85-90% ~3" Body lift ~5" Suspension lift Toyota Axles (1984) 4.11 Gearing in axles (Stock Toyota) Aussie Locker in rear diff. 6.5:1 T-case Mighty Kong T-case Mount Modified J Bolt Skid plate (Modified to Protect T-case E-Brake) Custom exhaust w/ Spintech Muffler (3225 SPORTSMAN STREET) Toyota Rear Disc Brake conversion (Same calipers / rotors as front stock toy axle) Spidertrax Transfercase mounted e-Brake Rampage soft top w/ 3 zip out windows (totally mint condition purchased this summer) Trail Tough "Double Tough" bumpers front & rear w/ tire carrier/fuel can and rock sliders. Backseat with working seatbelts Pushbutton glow plug setupFresh O.D. Green paintSeat covers over reupholstered seats - no tears, but seats had yellow... 1 wire required for truck to run. Powered by key with manual bypass designed for emergency! Never be stranded for electronics! No rot, unlike the usual New England trucks! Truck was originally from AZ and has been garaged for my ownership and previous owner. 22mpg with current gearing - I would expect 30mpg after a regear to 5.29? I'll be including the tools I bought to do your next timing belt, since I will no longer need them. Heat & blower works. Have all floor plugs. Truck purchased with stock engine with intention of diesel swap. Diesel swap completed, too many projects left on the plate. Over $8k invested - You won't find another this nice for this price! Needs: -An oil pan seal that I will include. I should have done when engine was out - I was dumb. Plenty of room to drop the pan, no issue. -Tie rod end on the drag link. Been that way since I bought it. Built and designed for real offroad use. Fix it's couple of needs and it could be a daily driver as well. I have personally had it at 70mph on the interstate. Great little truck, but I finished my goal with it and don't have need for a 3rd 4wd truck currently. Come pick it up and look forward to summer with the top off! This truck turns heads and gets thumbs up wherever you drive it. It's a ton of fun compared to the stock engine - the power is right there as you let the clutch out - Amazing for offroad! Acme Adapters strongly says yes, this engine will accept a turbo charger with a small bit of work. (people always ask) Here is a quick video of it idling! http://youtu.be/_Pl7xx4Xw0w Happy Bidding!
