1969 Chevelle SS396 (325 horse), Muncie M20 4 speed, 12 bolt 3.55 Posi. This SS396 is a 2 door hard top and is LeMans blue, with black bench seat interior, documented Super Sport. It has a non original, but vintage, 396 block. I believe it has the correct heads, etc. I have not taken the valve covers off to check, but the heads are the big spark plug heads. This is a Canadian built Chevelle Super Sport. Unlike US built 1969 SS Chevelles which cannot be verified by VIN numbers or trim tags (with the exception of Daytona Yellow and Hugger Orange 69 SS Chevelles), this car has been verified as a true SS396 by GM of Canada. See the image of the (Canadian) VIN plate with options listed right on the plate I have, and will include, the Heritage sheet with these facts listing all of the options when the car was built the 3rd week of March, 1969, at the Oshawa, Canada, GM facility. Car does needs some attention in a few areas, but has good floors. The trunk pans and some of the lower panels need work. There is no title with this car. The State of Georgia does not require titles on vehicles of this age. Your state can issue you a title. I will provide you with all of the information you will need, including a bill of sale and a signed certification of inspection by a duly constituted Georgia law enforcement officer.
