LAST TRY GUYS! There's been lots of interest in this bike in my two previous attempts to Ebay, but no bidders. This will be the last attempt to sell - after that I'm keeping it. One very unique XX! The first thing you notice about this bike is - it aint black. Yet this is absolutely stock Honda bodywork, painted by Honda, and with exact replacements avaliable from Honda. In 2000 in the US, all XX's were titanium grey. The owner prior to me is a big XX nut, as I am. He wanted something unique, and sourced a complete body and tank from a Canadian model in a color called Candy Phoenix Blue. That's what you see here. After that he added some goodies - HID headlight swap, Clear Alternatives LED signal eliminators, RC Component wheels, Two Bros Racing 4-1 exhaust, Penske rear shock ($800+!). Throw in a few pieces of bling - (clutch/stator covers, resevoir covers, etc) and she got real pretty. For comfort I've done what many XX enthusiasts do, and swapped the clip-ons for ones off a VFR 800 (slightly taller and pulled back) and put Buell pegs on it. She was always fast, but now she's fast, comfy, and stylish. She is currently shod with Micheliens excellent Pilot Road 2 tires with tons of life left in them. Recent oil change and full service. If you are not familiar with the Blackbird, this is the bikes that was the fastest thing on 2-wheels till Suzuki released the Hayabusa. She's a true 175mph motorcycle, and has a wide spread reputation for being absolutely bullet proof. This Blue Bird of Happiness has been owned by me since 2006, and I am a 15 year veteran motorcycle dealer who takes care of his stuff. This is the 3rd XX I've owned, and enjoy the snot out of them. This one has been my steed for several Iron Butt Association events, and even a track day at Barber Motorsports Park. Unfortunately, 2013 brought me a ton of bills and a pay cut, so I have to thin the herd in my garage and ol' blue is on the list. Also - not pictured, but included I have a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady seat with backrest. Nice seat if you are carrying passengers. This bike is special - and I promise the new owner will LOVE IT! Can negotitate delivery within a couple hundred miles of Roanoke,VA. UPDATE-BE AWARE THAT DELIVERY OR PICKUP MUST BE COMPLETED BY FEBRUARY 16TH. I have some travel coming up that will make me unavaliable for awhile after that.
