1978 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. Very, very nice car with $3000.00 dollars in recent parts, installed by 20 year Alfa Expert. MINT! Thanks for looking, this 1978 Alfa presents itself very well, fitted with rare OEM, not reproduction, Cromodora magnesium wheels which are wrapped in brand new bridgestone tires. The car also has all new hoses, brakes, battery, complete exhaust system, head gasket, all fluids, and necessary and unnecessary service items and heater valve. All work was performed by a very experienced Alfa tech. The engine, trunk, interior and wheels have been detailed to perfection. You would be very hard pressed to find a better original and correct example of this car anywhere. The car features very original details, and the wiring harness is unmolested and unaltered, everything on this car operates and works correctly, it has been adjusted and tuned to perform flawlessly. The car has spent it's life since new in a garage, the convertible top is in excellent condition with the often missing snap straps intact, the top bows are unrusted and well functioning as is the convertible top boot. The interior is absolutely stunning. All compartments are clean and detailed. The car still has the original cosmoline spray on the undercarriage. One of the most striking features of this Alfa is the Carrello headlight covers, which are new, these add a rare European flair to an undeniably stunning and beautiful car. It may be one of Pininfarina's finest designs and these covers compliment the car perfectly. This car was originally sold new in Seattle from the esteemed Gran Prix Motors. Gran Prix was originally an Alfa Romeo/Ferrari dealership which was one of the first Ferrari dealerships. Gran Prix Motors is now Ferrari of Seattle. The car was first purchased at Gran Prix on July 11, 1978. This is recorded in the original Warranty booklet, which is included with the car. As are a very large collection of reciepts totalling over $3000.00 in parts alone over the last year. This work was done to fully recondition the cars mechanical systems to perfect condition, as the car had sat in a heated garage for many years previously. This Alfa Romeo is being sold by a very astute Italian car enthusiast, and in fact no money has been spared making this a very, very well sorted and superb example of a Spider, it is not over restored or reconditioned where it appears contrived. This car is very original and represents what a Alfa appeared like when new. The owner of the car is selling this Spider to create garage space for other vehicles.
