This is a 1961 cab on a 1979 3/4 ton drivetrain.If you know your chevy's they didn't make an extended cab in 61. I cut two cabs and made this an extended cab.The motor is a 350 4bolt main out of a 1974 Z 28 with only 26000 miles on it. It has a mild cam in it.Headers with 2 1/2 " dual exhaust.Runs very strong.The transmission is a turbo 400 built to handle 1200 HP with a tci 2800 stall in it.This is hooked to a NP 205 transfer case.The gear ratio in the axles is 4:10.The tires are super swampers 21.5 x 15.The chrome wheels are 8 lug 15".The steering rod has been moved to the passenger side for better stability. The gauges are all new as is the shifter.It has two racing seats with plenty of room behind them for whatever.This truck is almost 10' tall.I have the a/c compressor that goes with the system in the truck.It has dual shocks on all four corners.Alumimum fuel cell in the rear of the truck.The bed on this truck was custom built to fit the frame.It also has a custom built tailgate.This truck is not a show truck but could be if you wanted to spend a little time and money.The interior needs finished.I was going to to use sheet metal just never got to it.If you need more pictures of something let me know,I'll be happy to get them to you.If you have questions just ask I'll respond quickly!
