This neat car underwent a cosmetic and mechanical restoration several years back and has been used little since. She still looks great and runs & drives very well. Her chrome and bright metal trim is excellent, paint very good (with a few small touch-ups) and the original glass is still in the car with a couple of the panels chipped and/or cracked as you might expect. Features include a very nice set of WWW radial tires wrapping factory steel wheels with Ford caps & trim rings, dual mirrors, chrome exhaust tips, bumper guards, fender skirts, clock, radio (not working), Magic Air heater, Allstate turn signals and a visor for that oh so Fabulous Fifties look. A couple of important deviations from stock would be the auxilliary electric radiator fan for parade duty and the dual exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers that sound absolutely fantastic! The body of the car is very solid with no visible rust. The floors, trunk & frame are all in very good condition. She's super straight! I just installed a brand-new 6 volt battery and the old flathead fires right up and runs great. The three speed manual transmission shifts smoothly up and down through the gears and the clutch engages like butter. She stops well with no pulling, noises or other drama. With the radial tires this old girl rides like a dream! This is a car that anyone would be proud to own. She's ready for fun cruising. Spring driving season is right around the corner.
