What you are bidding on is a 1962 Cevy Short Wide Box, Fleet side 4x4 pick up. This truck runs and drives great. The spedo does not work. I dont know why. I havent checked it out. It has a new clutch and breaks. Fresh tune-up. Had the break cylinder and carb re-built. 4x4 works great. It is the original 6 cylinder motor with a 4 speed, granny low transmission. Its got new tires on it. It does need some body work and paint. As you can see from the pics, the worst dent in the whole truck is in the drivers side rear of the bed. All the glass is good. No cracks, chips or ext... but it does have a mark on the windshield from the windshield wipper that I will polish out. It is 10 degrees today where I live and I drove it to town and back and heater works great! The truck hasnt been started in 6 MONTHS and it fired right up! I love this truck and hate to sell it but the reality of it is that Ill never get around to restoring it.this thing would look sweet pulling your gasser or rat rod. Look closely and you should see it on the drivers side about 3 inches below the bright/dimmer switch. And on the passanger side but alot smaller. Some small spots on the sides of the hood as well. All the rest is just surface rust. The rocker panels are solid. I find no rust on the bottoms of the doors except surface rust. The highest bondo spot on the passenger side door I removed and its just a dent from someone opening the door too far. I cant say if the rest of the bondo is covering rust or dents. I would venture to say they are dents. Just a guess.
