Started a new business last year and haven't the time to ride it the way it was meant to be ridden - only put a couple hundred miles on it in 2012... The TT39 kit combined with the fantastic Rotax built 650cc dual spark single cylinder engine gives real 600+ mile range on each fill up. (I have ridden through Oregon without stopping for fuel) Having owned several 2006 BMW F650GS Dakar bikes and killing one, this one is set up perfectly, the best parts, upgrades, professional paint, etc... The wheels are superlatively heavy duty with the correct ABS rings, Brake discs, Excel Rims, Woody's superlaced heavy stainless spokes, Michelin tires & 3mm tubes, and new BMW hubs and bearing sets. No expense was spared on getting the right equipment and proper setup for the intended purpose. The inverted front fork conversion and caliper adaptor gives much better travel and more responsive handling without the under suspended challenges of the stock unit. The bike is set up for long distance travel, and is ready to go for anyone planning an Alaska or Central/South America ride. The pallet of spares and extra parts ensures that you don't have to wait for the parts you need should you manage to break something. The second complete set of wheel lets you swap road focused tires to dirt focused tires in 15 minutes. I've ridden a comparably configured bike from Canada to Mexico on a primarily off-pavement route and the bike is perfect for this type of application. Motorcycle camping, unsupported travel in countries with questionable fuel supply, burning up miles of desert dirt in Death Valley, the TAT, or just a head turning super commuter, this will do it all. Crating and shipping or storage for a fly-and-ride assistance is available - not included in the price - but I am happy to help an enthusiast owner get this bike to a good home.
