I have just purchased this van on Ebay a few weeks ago. Circumstances dictate that I can not afford this vehicle. Since the purchase I have had a Inspect my Ride inspection to validate previous owners claims. The Auto Check score was 90. For original listing check for item # 130822541248. As specified in original listing, needs new windscreen, minor dent behind right rear wheels and the interior is average with tear in drivers seat. There has been 1 owner registered on this van but counting me it makes 3. I had a bidder state that the title situation is a problem. I have the 2 reports showing there is not a problem as well as a call to California DMV. They told me registration fees to bring it up to date would be around $200. I paid for the Inspect my Ride report done to verify the title and, like the $9.99 report they stated the same. And there rating was a 90! At purchase time the owner took out a lone, which has long since been taken care of. You will see a van in exceptionally good condition, Granted there are no shelves or a partition between driver and cab, but I can't believe this is getting less bids then a 2002 2500. And the shipping cost, I was quoted $800 prior to winning the auction, then when contacting the shipper the price was $2,400. I beat down an outfit to $980 to get it to Ohio which I am passing on to winner. Minus the $150 I put down to lock in at that price. I know I can bring it to Ohio, do the minor cosmectics and get well over $10,000, but I just can't afford it. But if it does not go for a fair price I will figure out a way to do it as it took months to find a van with the extras I wanted. As for the title, who out there has not taken a signed title to DMV and had a problem? Yes it has a lot of miles but try and find one with duel wheels, ext, it's not easy.
