Is it Spring yet? Leave it up to me to get a gorgeous convertible in the dead of winter but it’s warm somewhere in the country. Just traded, here is one of the nicest VW Cabrio’s to come along in quite a while and if there were something negative for me to tell you about on this one I would do it but quite honestly I can’t find a single thing to talk about. Mechanically the car runs like a new one with no known problems, a quiet and dry 2litre motor, a perfect shifting automatic transmission, good tires, brakes, exhaust, all the buttons working properly including the power top and a very comfortable and good running car all the way round. No leaks from the convertible top which is like new, a clean rear window and no cuts or tears in the roof and the car looks good all the while. The body is beautiful with no dents at all, no rust at all, nice paint with no blemishes or bad spots and this one looks good from any angle. The interior is in mint condition with perfect genuine leather seats, fresh carpets, dash and headliner, no burn marks or signs of ever having been smoked in and no smells of tobacco or mildew. It’s raining and snowing like hell here today and the interior is dry as a bone so no leaks from the roof. If you were looking for a sporty car that doesn’t eat gas, looks terrific and runs every bit as good as it looks and you didn’t want to wait til Spring, here it is and it will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction.
