Vehicle Detail
2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. The truck has 82K miles. It was my daily driver, but it’s now parked in a heated garage ready to sell . I just had it totally detailed & the carpet shampood. I have never raced this vehicle. Always taken care of. If you are looking at this truck, I assume you know it is one bad a$$ ride! It is lowered, has some performance parts, and a lot of extras. I would estimate there’s about 5-8K in extras all together. This truck is sweet & constantly gets looks and compliments. This truck is pretty trick I must say. It has been tastefully modified. It is reliable as any stock SRT8 would be. The modifications are very mild as you can see by the list below. I love this truck, but I'm getting a boat & need something that's more geared towards towing it. I’ve had many fast cars in my life, and this one takes the cake. What a blast to drive!! Chrysler really did this one right. This model is what kicked off the muscle suv thing, and there are few if any that can beat it performance wise. Surely not for the price! Here are some of the features/options on these vehicles. They come pretty much loaded: 6.1 Hemi 420 horse power 420 lbs of torque (stock) All Wheel Drive Navigation/Sat Radio/Bluetooth Reat entertainment system / DVD player Built in garage door openers Heated Seats Driver seat memory Power Sunroof Leather Seats PW, PL, AIR, etc Brembo Big Brakes LOADED Here is the aftermarket stuff I have installed/done: DMH Exhaust cutouts. These were installed by the previous owner. See the video he has posted. This is the actual vehicle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjgetIQexOU Volant Cold Air Induction Kit Diablo Trinity Programmer with custom tune in the vehicle (included). I can re-flash to stock if wanted. Eibach lowering springs Bwoody End links Stock 20" wheels with bf goodrich kdw2 tires (size: 265/50R20 on front. 295/45R20 on back. Wheels powder coated black) Replica 20" wheels with blizzak snow tires (size: P265/50R20 on all fours. Winter setup, currently on the vehicle) Electric front retractable license plate (operated from inside the cab). Here’s a video of one of these on a mustang: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khzkAgs5GVY Custom Leather wrapped steering wheel. The old started to peal, so I had this done up. It’s half leather & half carbon fiber look. Nice upgrade! IPOD hookup – Ran through the rear VES system. The ipod charges when plugged in. Full LED interior lights. The front floor lights are blue in color. Really cool looking 7K HID headlight kit JL Audi Stealthbox with 10" Sub – Sounds great & not an eye sore Kicker Stereo upgrade. New amps & speakers. All OEM parts Rockford Fosgate sub amp WeatherTech front & rear floor mats (stock ones also included) Billet Oil Catch Can Window tint all around Moldings blacked out Rear tails & markers tinted black Front Markers tinted black Emblems & Badges removed SRT8 emblems on steering wheel & shifter This is a 6 year old vehicle, so do expect the usual imperfections. The paint is not perfect, but as you can see sure does shine up good. I personally would take a touch up marker to it if it wasn’t the middle of winter and fix all the small chips, etc. The end links that I have installed are by far the most noticeable performance improvement on the vehicle. Unfortunately these things are notorious for squeaking, which these do at low speeds. Stock ones can easily be put back on if desired. I just think the performance you get with them is well worth a little noise. You can oil/grease them too to solve the problem. I am including the tuner, which I believe is about $500 new. I am including both sets of wheels & tires. Both sets of tires probably have about 8K each on them if that. They are both new within the last year. Both sets are a bit oversized. One rear tire on the summer set has a gash in it, but it is still usable. The brakes were done about a year ago. Pads & new slotted rotors all the way around. All the fluids were changed at 60K miles. The battery is newer. I had the starter changed & a electronic piece replace since I’ve owned it, and that was the only thing I ever had to have done. The title is clean, but it does have a lean on it. The way this works is I can transfer the title to you right away as soon as payment clears. I will then work with my bank to get the lean release. I usually can have this within a couple of days. If you are going to have the vehicle shipped, I can work with you to a degree. I can drop it off at a shipping location that is not too far from where I live. Otherwise, shipping is entirely up the buyer. Please contact me with any shipping questions prior to bidding. You can still flip the plate up and down manually. It looks like the cabling has come undone. Go figure, this is the first issue I have had with this. I will not be able to replace the unit in time before this auction ends. As an alternative, for the existing bidders I will purchase a new unit and have it shipped to you for installation. I am very sorry about this, but I just do not have time to look at it. It may be an easy fix, as I believe the motor is still functional.
