1976 chevy 4x4 mud truck. 454bbc, 400 turbo transmission, 205 transfer case, Dana 60 up front with 5.13 gears, 35 spline outer stub axles, and Warn premium lockouts, two sets of drive flanges for the front end (1 set is store bought one set is homemade), 14 bolt in back with disc brakes. Tire (42 inch swampers) are in very good shape. The transmission is rebuilt from Coen Engineering and the transcase is rebuilt from offroad design with a twin stick shifter. I bought the Engine used. It has 375 horse closed chamber heads. The numbers say 1969-70. I am not sure about the cam, but it does idle a little rough. New 750 holley vac secondaries. MSD ignition. Most everything is new or rebuilt except the body. Brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, power steering pump, steering box, steering shaft, and proportioning valve are all new. Body is rough but solid. The front springs are 6 inch lift and have heavy duty shackel mounts and shackels from offroad design. The back springs have a shackel flip lift kit from offroad design. There is a 20 gallon fuel cell in the bed. I drive it on the street some, but it rides pretty rough like most mud trucks do. I have taken it to 4 mud boggs in my area and run the 44 & under class. I got 1st three times and I got 2nd once. Most of the time, the truck just sits in the barn. The Reese-style hitch on the back is not included.
