Original paint, interior engine and drive train on this 96k mile car. #1985 was just used on display at the Carroll Shelby Tribute in September ‘12 at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Fall Auto Fair. For Model year 1969, 2,361 Shelby Mustangs were produced and Hertz ordered only 152 of the Shelby style performance Mustangs. This was the last year you could go rent and drive a Shelby Mustang (until 2006). Only 6 of these Shelby Mustangs were painted Candyapple RED with RED interior.
