Vehicle Detail

I am the second owner of this excellent Condition E55-AMG Mercedes Benz / tectite grey on black with 81K miles and always garaged kept. New this vehicle was somewhere in the mid $80's. This car is one of the fastest production cars ever made and is nicely packaged in a 4 door sedan body style. The vehicle does have a few minor scratches from normal wear and should be noted the rear bumper has a spot of scratch marks where an automatic garage door accidentally closed on the vehicle as shown in picture (Just to mention). Also both sun visors are also slightly separating at the seems and if I was keeping the vehicle I would search and replace them sometime in the future. The fact is this 2003 E55 AMG is one of the fastest Mercedes ever built. Along with that, it is also one of the sharpest handling, shortest stopping and arguably best-looking four-door sedans ever to wear the three-pointed star. With its stroked and supercharged V8, racecar-sized brake rotors and beautifully finished interior and exterior, the E55 has all the ingredients necessary to stake its claim as one of the world's most sought-after sedans. The standard 5.0-liter V8 in the E500 body for AMG is replaced by a hand-built 5.5-liter version that uses a longer piston stroke to increase displacement and a supercharger to force-feed air into the higher-capacity cylinders. Rated at 469 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, the E55's V8 is one of the most powerful production engines ever offered in the U.S. This car will hit 0-to-60-mph in 4.5 seconds. The vehicles never-ending stream of power is put to the ground via an AMG-fortified five-speed automatic transmission complete with three driver-selectable shift modes: standard, sport or manual. If you are lucky enough, you too will realize this is a car that definitely blurs the lines between luxury sedan and sports car like few other four-doors on the planet. Its ability to effortlessly summon triple-digit speeds while retaining all the poise you would expect in a Mercedes is nothing short of phenomenal, and the fact that it remains equally as amiable around town makes it all the more impressive. Hard-core enthusiasts might consider its lack of a manual transmission a roadblock to super sedan supremacy; but in my opinion a 469 horsepower supercharged E55 has a way of changing your mind in a hurry.Call Chris (518) 225-four zero nine five.
