I bought this Rover for my son as a first vehicle. Shortly after purchase the transmission stopped shifting into reverse, forward gears followed shortly thereafter. The Sport, Manual, and Drive lights all flash; so you could read the codes to find the problem.The fluid was not contaminated. There is a distinct rattling noise that comes from the bell housing. The engine ran strong before the transmission went. It only had an exhaust leak at one of the flanges between the downpipe and the exhaust manifold. Everything else was operating properly. I have a clear title in hand. I will expect full payment within 7 days. If not received, I will re-list the vehicle. I can assist with loading onto a trailer for transport. The vehicle will not move under its own power. Drivetrain The drivetrain operates correctly accept the fore mentioned transmission problem. The transfer case does operate as does the front axle. The check engine light is on. I have not run the codes. Interior The power windows, door locks, and both sun roofs function properly. The seats are manual and cloth. They need reupholstering. The 3rd row jump seats are present with head rest, however the latching mechanism needs repair. Someone broke into the vehicle while it was sitting. The broke out the passenger side front window and tore out the dash. The windshield has a crack, but it is useable. Suspension It has the self leveling rear suspension. It functions properly, however the driver side bag will leak down over the period of a night. Body The body is straight, however someone attempted to repaint the hood and the passenger side quarter panel. Both need repainting. You do not notice the quarter panel from more than 10 feet and the hood from the side. There are various scratches in the paint and the whole vehicle could do with a re-spray. Brakes The brakes work properly. Wheels and Tires All the wheels are in good shape with no curb rash. The tires are useable.
