Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a rough but very rare 1965 Ford Falcon Sedan Delivery body. Actual mileage is unknown. I think it may be too rough to restore back to original, but would make a nice hot rod or rat rod. This was the final year of Falcon Sedan Delivery production and less that 650 were built that year. Georgia does not require a title, only a bill of sale for vehicles this old. I have a clear Georgia registration in my name which I will furnish to the buyer along with a bill of sale. That is is all that is required in most title states to get it titled (I've sold several vehicles to buyers in Florida this year and they all got their vehicles titled with no problems). It was a factory 289/2V with automatic car. The motor and transmission were missing when I bought it last summer, but it does still have the five lug rear end and front hubs. The car has been parked for at least 15-20 years and will need to be completely rebuilt. The fenders, painted 1965 grille visible in photos (the anodized 64 grille visible in the photos do not go with the car), inner and outer tailgate pieces ( rusty but repairable), an extra hood, and headlamp buckets and bezels are stored inside the car. The long anodized trim pieces that go from the back of the doors along the top of the quarter panel to the tailgate area aren't visible in the photos, but are included. They are dull, but not bent. It has a factory radio delete plate and the split bench seat. It was a department of transportation vehicle, and was a stripped down model with manual drum brakes and manual steering. It will need either a patch panel or a replacement right rear quarter panel where is was hit in the right rear. The bumpers and taillamp assemblies are missing. The floor panels ahead of the driver seat and immediately behind the passenger side of the seat are rusted out. The rear floor has some holes, but would not need replacing. The bottom of the spare tire well has a small hole in it. The rocker panels are very solid. The inner fender around the battery tray area is rusted out, but the frame rails beneath are solid. I have changed the tires from those in the pictures, and they will hold air for a few days. The car will need to be hauled on a trailer or rollback due to the condition of the tires. A deposit of $300 through paypal is due within 48 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 7 days of auction end. I will accept checks for payment, but they will require 2 weeks to clear before the car or paperwork will be released for pickup. Vehicle is sold as is/where is with no warranties of any type and must be picked up within 30 days. I would be able to store the car and deliver it to the Moultrie Swap Meet in Moultrie, Georgia on February 1st or 2nd for $100. Georgia residents are required to add sales tax for their county of residence since I bought this vehicle for my parts business. I may be able to deliver the Falcon up to 300 miles from Statenville, GA 31648 for $2.10/loaded mile as determined by Mapquest. If you want a shipping cost, email me a COMPLETE delivery address and I will be happy to get one for you. If you need any other pictures email me and I'll get some for you. Thanks, and Happy New Year!
